About me

I am a 25-year-old with two kids, two and four, as well as custody of my thirteen-year-old nephew. We live in a small town in Northeast, Ohio. I am a dental assistant but going to school to become a RN. I got married in June to the absolute love of my life. We have an entire petting zoo at home consisting of two dogs, two cats, and a chinchilla.

My ultimate goal is to provide quality work that is also affordable. This includes out of state weddings! I don’t believe anyone should go without the tangible memories due to finances being an issue. I was lucky enough to have had a photographer with a similar mindset as this and she made it possible for us to have quality wedding photos without costing an arm and a leg. I am forever grateful for her and only wish to give others the same experience! Quality work that is also affordable.

I originally bought myself a camera with the sole intention of just photographing my kids as they grew up. I found myself shooting in auto more often than not and I wanted to break the habit. I started offering free shoots to the local families and graduating seniors in my county that may not have been able to afford them otherwise so that I would have more opportunities to learn. I ended up loving the process so much I decided I would get more involved in the photography world than I originally planned. I have since booked quite a few of my local families, couples, 2024 graduates and even several weddings for later this year. I am very excited to share my journey as I go.

Videography was never my intention when purchasing my camera either. As I mentioned above, I got married in June of 2023, and with that I had joined quite a few Facebook wedding groups. Several months ago, a post caught my eye of a frantic bride whose videographer cancelled on her one hour before she was to be walking down the aisle. I had scrolled through the comments simply being heartbroken for this bride to see if she had it taken care of. I was shocked when no one was able to help her. I immediately messaged her and explained I had no knowledge whatsoever in recording or editing video, but if she wanted I could at a bare minimum get her some footage. She was happy to get the help, so I rushed out my door for the hour drive and went and took my very first wedding video just like that. The editing had a large learning curve at the start, but the newlywed couple were extremely happy, grateful, and pleasantly surprised with the final product. This video is able to be seen via the videography tab above. I ended up loving the editing process despite some of the grey hairs it may have caused me in the beginning. I learned quite a few things about shooting video that day that I would have never learned without throwing myself out there the way I did. I have since been practicing in video mode more often too. Cute little side note to this story is this brides wedding was a little over an hour from my house. Can you believe after the video was all edited and put together and I was ready to ship her the USB drive, we learned we live just 10 minutes away from each other?

I look forward to speaking with you!
